With more than 20 years’ experience in construction product retail sales, Gina (Romano) Della understands what it takes to be successful in business.
Gina began her professional career as a freelance court reporter after earning her bachelor’s degree from Concordia University-Wisconsin in 1987. As a court reporter with RPR and national credentials, she transcribed all types of testimonies from experts in all fields, specializing in medicine and engineering.
In 1997, Gina took her career to the next level and founded Affordable Windows, Doors & More, Inc. located in Waukesha, Wisconsin. As the President and Owner, she was responsible for the entire company’s financial performance, handling business planning and sales strategy development. Having been the first female owner of a replacement window company in the United States, she had the privilege of being invited throughout her career by the two manufacturers she worked with to speak and train at various locations throughout the country.
In 2006, in addition to running Affordable Windows, Doors & More, Inc., Gina added to her career by taking a position as an international sales consultant with Advantech Manufacturing. She worked with customers and companies throughout the world, introducing them to small particle separation equipment. Meeting new customers on a weekly basis, and working with them at all hours of the day almost every day from around the world, the position at Advantech provided Gina with a strong business foundation. She gained the understanding of how to meet the needs of her clients, mastered the ability to multitask, and obtained the knowledge of how to work with people from diverse backgrounds.
With 18 years of window replacement selling experience, Gina was recruited by Pella Windows & Doors of Wisconsin and became its General Retail sales manager in December of 2013. During her time at Pella, she has been the catalyst for double digit retail sales growth and is responsible for leading, managing, and training its retail sales staff that consists of more than 20 retail sales representatives and other employees. She has also developed effective marketing strategies with radio and digital campaigns and piloted training programs for Pella corporate. A two-time President’s Award Winner, two-time Growth Award Winner and Director’s Award Winner with Pella, Gina has become a sales leader within not only the corporation but the fenestration industry.
